You should consider reviewing the research cited. We don’t promote an ethical or moral argument (though many of us *do* believe it is the right thing to do); we promote diversity, because diversity in companies, in boards, and in teams, has been proven to result in better performance. The problem is companies are not giving women, people of color, women of color, older people, people with disabilities, and people in many other underrepresented groups jobs, promotions or compensation that they deserve. We want companies to give everyone a fair shot at success. That turns out to be good for business in many ways.
